During my time with CCSN, I was fortunate to witness firsthand the process of advocacy in action as the Nova Scotia Liberal caucus introduced Bill 241, An Act to Amend Chapter 197 of the Revised Statutes, 1989, the Health Services and Insurance Act, Respecting Lung Cancer Screening, in late October 2022. This was as a result of our advocacy to elected officials in the fall of 2022.
